I am stoked to announce the release of my cover of “Friend of the Devil,” a song from a band that has been a huge inspiration to me. Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter’s unique blend of storytelling and musicianship feels eternally relevant.

In this cover, I’ve aimed to capture the essence of the original while bringing my own raw and authentic touch to it. I even bust out the banjo for this, so, y’know.

This project is part of an ongoing series where I embrace a quick turnaround recording approach. Instead of lengthy album sessions, I’m focusing on recording and producing tracks swiftly, often in a single take.
